Effect of weed and fertilizer management on weed control and productivity of onion (Allium cepa)
TL;DR: In this article, an experiment was conducted to examine the effect of weed management and plant nutrition practices on weed biomass, growth parameters and bulb yield of onion (Allium cepa L.), which included alone application of herbicides, viz. pendimethalin, oxyfluorfen and fluazipop-p-butyl, their combination with hand weeding, weed free and weedy check.

Performance of onion under weed and fertilizer management
TL;DR: It is inferred that the treatment combination of pendimethalin 1 kg/ha fb one hand weeding at 40 days after transplanting supplement with 100% RDF found most appropriate and profitable not only to secure the net return of 2,69,422/ha with 7.85 BCR per unit cost of onion production but also save 25% of fertilizer.

Integrated nutrient management in rice (Oryza sativa)–sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) (plant)–sugarcane (ratoon) cropping sequence
TL;DR: For securing higher yield and remuneration in rice - sugarcane (plant)–sugarcane (ratoon) cropping sequence, application of inorganic fertilizer gave net return and B:C ratio close to that obtained with application of 100% recommended dose of fertilizer as per soil test value or as per general state recommendation.
