TL;DR: Evaluated the anti-diarrhoeal activity of methanolic and hydromethanolic extracts obtained from the leaves of B. cinera in Swiss mice showed that both extracts reduced significantly the gastrintestinal motility.

TL;DR: In this paper, the methanolic extract of leaves from Byrsonima crassa, a Brazilian medicinal plant, was analyzed by CC and HPLC, and four constituents were isolated and identified as quercetin, methyl gallate, (-)-epigallocatechin gallate and quercinetin-3-O-(2”-galloyl)-a-L-arabinopyranoside.
