The invention provides a preparation method of a wormwood-stem-based viscose rayon fiber. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing wormwood stem pulp by adopting wormwood stem as a raw material; (2) preparing a spinning solution of the wormwood stem pulp by utilizing the wormwood stem pulp; (3) uniformly mixing wormwood-stem-based mucilage glue with common mucilage glue prepared from common cellulose pulp; (4) filtering the mixed mucilage glue, introducing the filtered mixed mucilage glue into a coagulating bath for spinning forming, and then carrying out fiber stretching and aftertreatment to obtain the wormwood-stem-based viscose rayon fiber. Compared with the prior art, the preparation method has the advantages that 1, waste wormwood stem is creatively adopted as the raw material and pollution caused by incineration or irresponsible disposal of wormwood stem can be avoided; 2, the preparation method is easy to implement and has no strict technological requirements; 3, the waste is turned into valuable, so that the antibacterial functional mucilage glue product is prepared.
