Breath analysis based early gastric cancer classification from deep stacked sparse autoencoder neural network.
TL;DR: A new method for feature extraction using a stacked sparse autoencoder to extract the discriminative features from the unlabeled data of breath samples, which exhibits excellent results, with an overall accuracy of 98.7% for advanced gastric cancer classification and 97.3% for early Gastric cancer detection using breath analysis.
Engineered mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes with high CXCR4 levels for targeted siRNA gene therapy against cancer.
Shuyue Xu,Bin Liu,Junyi Fan,Cuili Xue,Yi Lu,Can Li,Daxiang Cui +6 more
TL;DR: The mesenchymal stem cells used in this study were genetically engineered to obtain exosomes with high CXCR4 expression as carriers for targeted gene-drug delivery, and the Survivin gene was loaded via electrotransformation to construct a brand-new gene- drug delivery system (CXCR 4high Exo/si-Survivin).

Metal-organic frameworks based surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy technique for ultra-sensitive biomedical trace detection
Yuna Zhang,Cuili Xue,Yu‐Lian Xu,Shengsheng Cui,Alexander Ganeev,Yu. V. Kistenev,Anna Gubal,Victoria Chuchina,Han Jin,Daxiang Cui +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , representative synthesis strategies of metal-organic frameworks to fabricate SERS-active substrates are summarized and their applications in ultra-sensitive biomedical trace detection are also reviewed, relative barriers, advantages, disadvantages, future trends, and prospects are particularly discussed to give guidance to relevant researchers.
Confining Prepared Ultrasmall Nanozymes Loading ATO for Lung Cancer Catalytic Therapy/Immunotherapy
Amin Zhang,Ang Gao,Cheng Zhou,Cuili Xue,Qian Qian Zhang,J. M. Fuente,Daxiang Cui +6 more
TL;DR: Systematic studies reveal that the obvious reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation is obtained by the strategy of using nPt nanozymes and reducing oxygen consumption by ATO, which in turn enables lung‐cancer synergetic catalytic therapy/immunogenic‐cell‐death‐based immunotherapy.

Au Nanostars Coated with a Thin Film of MIL-100 (Fe) for SERS-Based Sensing of Volatile Organic Compound Indicators in Saliva
Haizi Yao,Cuili Xue,Yu‐Lian Xu,Chenghan Yi,Shengsheng Cui,Nguyen Duc Hoa,Abolghasem Jouyban,Daxiang Cui +7 more
TL;DR: Researchers developed a SERS sensor using Au nanostars coated with MIL-100 (Fe) to detect volatile organic compound (VOC) indicators in saliva for gastric cancer prewarning, achieving selective detection of 3 VOCs with potential for future disease screening applications.
