TL;DR: Seminal 90K is decreased in patients with male accessory gland infection, and may be restored by a treatment with quinolones, however, the clinical utility of a 90K assay in these patients remains uncertain, as its level is not predictive of response to treatment.

TL;DR: Novel assays, including seminal reactive oxygen species levels, may prove to be of greater clinical utility for identifying men with below-average reproductive potential and efforts to identify and treat modifiable risk factors should ideally be targeted toward these individuals.
