TL;DR: The role of cardiovascular imaging in the differential diagnosis of cardiac masses is presented and a step-wise diagnostic algorithm is proposed, taking into account the epidemiology and clinical presentation of the cardiac masses, as well as the availability and the incremental value of each imaging modality.

TL;DR: It is shown that sarcoidosis patients have impaired vascular function and increased inflammatory status, which may improve with cortisone treatment, and there was a significant correlation between inflammatory process and vascular function impairment.
