TL;DR: The use of denosumab, an agent originally used for its anti-resorptive effects, in the management of an aggressive GCL of the mandible in an older patient, who was unsuitable for extensive surgery and in whom treatment with intralesional triamcinolone had proved unsuccessful.

Does access to general dental treatment affect the number and complexity of patients presenting to the acute hospital service with severe dentofacial infections
TL;DR: Although there was an upward trend in the numbers and complexity of infections, this trending did not reach statistical significance and increased resources should be made available to support access to dental care, to lessen the potential for the morbidity and mortality associated with serious odontogenic infections.

TL;DR: It is found that serum concentration of CRP on admission and increasing number of fascial spaces involved by the infection were significant predictors of hospital stay and improved and timely access to primary dental care is likely to reduce the burden for patients and the acute hospital service.
