Load-driven interactions between energy efficiency and demand response on regional grid scales
Brian F. Gerke,Cong Zhang,Samanvitha Murthy,Andrew Satchwell,Elaina Present,Henry Horsey,Eric Wilson,Andrew Parker,Andrew Speake,Rajendra Singh Adhikari,Mary Ann Piette +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors perform bottom-up modeling of the interactive effects between energy efficiency and demand response in buildings for three representative regions of the United States electricity grid and show that the overall effect is competition between EE and DR, but significant complementarity can also occur, especially when the EE portfolio includes controls measures.

Key technologies and system development for regional integrated energy system
TL;DR: The coupling relationship, the applicability of control equipment for multi-energy systems and the principle of fault handling are presented, which indicates that it can effectively deal with the unexpected situation of RIES.

Research on Droop Control Strategy of Multi-terminal AC/DC Hybrid Distribution System
TL;DR: Different droop control strategies are analyzed from the perspective of small signal stability and show that U dc - P and U ac - Q droop curves have the advantages of small voltage fluctuation, short transient time and high level of satisfaction and stability, which is more suitable for multi-terminal AC/DC hybrid distribution systems.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors quantify the impacts of energy efficiency and demand response (DR) measures and technologies on bulk power system costs and emissions based on changes in generation expansion, transmission expansion, and dispatch patterns.
A robust optimal dispatching strategy of distribution networks considering fast charging stations integrated with photovoltaic and energy storage
TL;DR: In this article , a day-ahead optimal dispatching method for distribution network (DN) with fast charging station (FCS) integrated with photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage (ES) is proposed to deal with the negative impact of FCS on DN.
