A molecular switch based on potential-induced changes of oxidation state.
TL;DR: The conductance of a hepta-aniline oligomer attached to gold electrodes held under potential control in electrolyte is measured and the results connect electrochemical data directly to molecular electronic behavior in a two-terminal device.
Encoding Molecular‐Wire Formation within Nanoscale Sockets
TL;DR: A method to integrate chemical synthesis with the formation of nanoscale electrical “sockets” to allow the in situ construction of three-component molecular wires through the implementation of a two-step reaction sequence between molecular-scale electrodes.
Using hydrogen bonds to direct the assembly of crowded aromatics.
TL;DR: This Minireview details the design, synthesis, and self-assembly of a new class of crowded aromatics that form columnar superstructures that form helical and polar stacks, whose assembly can be directed with electric fields.
Ferromagnetic Ordering in Superatomic Solids

TL;DR: Using a combination of magnetometry and muon spin relaxation measurements, it is demonstrated that crystallographically defined superatomic solids assembled from molecular nickel telluride clusters and fullerenes undergo a ferromagnetic phase transition at low temperatures.
Charge Density Wave and Ferromagnetism in Intercalated CrSBr.
