Papers
Direct femtosecond laser writing of waveguides in As2S3 thin films.
Arnaud Zoubir,Martin Richardson,Clara Rivero,Alfons Schulte,Cedric Lopez,Kathleen Richardson,Nicolas Hô,Réal Vallée +7 more
TL;DR: The dependence of the index differential on the peak intensity reveals the nonlinear nature of the photosensitivity in arsenic trisulfide below its bandgap energy, and the refractive-index change is correlated to the photoinduced structural changes inferred by Raman spectroscopy data.

Oxyfluoride tellurite glasses doped by erbium: thermal analysis, structural organization and spectral properties
Virginie Nazabal,Virginie Nazabal,Shin-ichi Todoroki,Akihiko Nukui,Takehisa Matsumoto,Shigeru Suehara,Takaharu Hondo,Tetsuo Araki,S. Inoue,Clara Rivero,Thierry Cardinal +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of fluorine substitution in zinc tellurite glass system doped with rare earths on the spectral properties of the Er 3+ ions are investigated.

Laser-induced defects in fused silica by femtosecond IR irradiation
Arnaud Zoubir,Clara Rivero,Rachel Grodsky,Kathleen Richardson,Martin Richardson,Thierry Cardinal,Michel Couzi +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, photo-induced defects resulting from exposure to intense near-infrared femtosecond radiation are studied in three $a\text{\ensuremath{-}}\mathrm{Si{O}}_{2}$ glasses with different impurity levels.

Raman gain measurements of thallium-tellurium oxide glasses.
Robert Stegeman,Clara Rivero,Kathleen Richardson,George I. Stegeman,Peter J. Delfyett,Y. Guo,April Pope,Alfons Schulte,Thierry Cardinal,Philippe Thomas,J. C. Champarnaud-Mesjard +10 more
TL;DR: Several different compositions of tellurium-thallium glasses were fabricated and tested for their Raman gain performance and the maximum Raman Gain experimentally obtained was higher than the peak Raman loss of fused silica.
Raman gain of selected tellurite glasses for IR fibre lasers calculated from spontaneous scattering spectra
M.D. O’Donnell,Kathleen Richardson,R. Stolen,Clara Rivero,Thierry Cardinal,Michel Couzi,David Furniss,Angela B. Seddon +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the spontaneous Raman scattering spectra and calculated Raman gain spectra of two TZN (TeO2-ZnO-Na2O) glasses and three tungsten tellurite glasses were presented.
