TL;DR: This paper found that the attitudes students bring with them into the classroom contribute to two outcome measures, namely, learning as assessed by a pre- and postquiz and perceived self-reported benefits.

Genomics Education Partnership: a research-based approach to undergraduate teaching utilizing a centralized support system (618.39)
Anya Goodman,Cindy Arrigo,Ana Maria Barral,K. Jones,Celeste Peterson,Jennifer Roecklein-Canfield,Wilson Leung,Christopher D. Shaffer,David Lopatto,Sarah C. R. Elgin +9 more
TL;DR: The data suggest that a research‐based curriculum with centralized support is a successful approach in STEM education, and evaluated student learning gains in both the cognitive domain and affective domain.
