Fabrication of polyaniline/mesoporous carbon/MnO2 ternary nanocomposites and their enhanced electrochemical performance for supercapacitors
TL;DR: In this paper, a ternary composite with a PANI nanolayer uniformly deposited on the CMK-3/MnO2 particles was synthesized by chemical oxidative polymerization.
Highly efficient Au/Fe2O3 for CO oxidation: The vital role of spongy Fe2O3 toward high catalytic activity and stability.
TL;DR: It is seen that the spongy Fe2O3 catalyst loaded with Au has an interface that can be extremely active for CO desorption and O2 activation, which means it has high catalytic activity in CO oxidation than non-spongy and low surface area Fe2 O3loaded with Au.
Superhydrophobic and mechanically robust polysiloxane composite coatings containing modified silica nanoparticles and PS-grafted halloysite nanotubes
Jie Wang,Jing Zhang,Chunzhong Li +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a superhydrophobic polysiloxane composite coating with excellent mechanical properties was prepared by spraying a mixture of polyoxane resins based on three siloxane monomers, hexadecyltrimethoxysilane (HDTMS) modified nano-SiO2 particles and polystyrene-grafted halloysite nanotubes (HNTs-PS).
Hierarchical porous CoS2 microboxes for efficient oxygen evolution reaction
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate the construction of the CoS2 nanosheets assembled three-dimensional hierarchical microboxes by a facile solvothermal process and subsequent sulfurization, where the porous building blocks are crosslinked by numerous nanoparticles.
