Follow-up study on COVID-19 survivors one year after discharge from hospital.
Yumiao Zhao,Chunxia Yang,Xiaocai An,Yajun Xiong,Yao-min Shang,Jiarong He,Yan Qiu,Ning Zhang,Huang Lisha,Jia Junli,Qin-Fu Xu,Long Zhang,Jun-Jie Zhao,Guangzhong Pei,Hong Luo,Jun Wang,Qingquan Li,Yanfeng Gao,Ai-Guo Xu +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the long-term consequences of COVID-19 survivors one year after recovery, and identified the risk factors associated with abnormal patterns in chest imaging manifestations or impaired lung function.

A sex- and site-specific relationship between body mass index and osteoarthritis: evidence from observational and genetic analyses.
Li Zhang,Wenqiang Zhang,Xueyao Wu,Huijie Cui,Peijing Yan,Chao Yang,Xunying Zhao,Jinyu Xiao,Chenghan Xiao,Mingshuang Tang,Yutong Wang,Lin Chen,Yunjie Liu,Yanqiu Zou,Ling Zhang,Yanfang Yang,Yuqin Yao,Jiayuan Li,Zhenmi Liu,Chunxia Yang,Ben Zhang,Xiaobo Jiang +21 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated whether there are phenotypic and genetic links underlying body mass index (BMI) and overall osteoarthritis (OA) and explored whether the relationships differ across sexes and sites.

Observational and genetic analyses of the bidirectional relationship between depression and hypertension.
Zhengxing Xu,Xueyao Wu,Changfeng Xiao,Wenqiang Zhang,Pei-jing Yan,Chao Yang,Li Zhang,Huijie Cui,Mingshuang Tang,Yutong Wang,Lin Chen,Yunjie Liu,Yanqiu Zou,Yang Qu,Chenghan Xiao,Ling Zhang,Chunxia Yang,Jiayuan Li,Zhenmi Liu,Jiaqiang Liao,Yuqin Yao,Ben Zhang,Xia Jiang +22 more
TL;DR: This study indicates depression is a causal risk factor for hypertension, whereas the reverse maybe not, and findings support that prevention of depression might help in decreasing hypertension incidence.

Genetic correlation, shared loci and causal association between sex hormone-binding globulin and bone mineral density: insights from a large-scale genome-wide cross-trait analysis.
Yang Qu,Chang-yi Xiao,Xueyao Wu,Jingwei Zhu,Chenjiarui Qin,Lin He,Huijie Cui,Li Zhang,Wenqiang Zhang,Chunxia Yang,Yuqin Yao,Jiayuan Li,Zhenmi Liu,Ben Zhang,Wenzhi Wang,Xia Jiang +15 more
TL;DR: The genetic overlap between SHBG and heel estimated bone mineral density (eBMD), a widely‐accepted tool for osteoporosis management and fracture risk assessment, is elucidated and a shared genetic basis between SH BG and eBMD is revealed, substantiated by multiple pleiotropic loci and a robust causal relationship.
