Research on self-healing behavior of asphalt modified by polyurea elastomer containing dynamic disulfide/diselenide bond

All-solution-processed organic optoelectronic devices can enable the large-scale manufacture of ultrathin wearable electronics with integrated diverse functions. However, the complex multilayer-stacking device structure of organic optoelectronics poses challenges for scalable production. Here, we establish all-solution processes to fabricate a wearable, self-powered photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor. We achieve comparable performance and improved stability compared to complex reference devices with evaporated electrodes by using a trilayer device structure applicable to organic photovoltaics, photodetectors, and light-emitting diodes. The PPG sensor array based on all-solution-processed organic light-emitting diodes and photodetectors can be fabricated on a large-area ultrathin substrate to achieve long storage stability. We integrate it with a large-area, all-solution-processed organic solar module to realize a self-powered health monitoring system. We fabricate high-throughput wearable electronic devices with complex functions on large-area ultrathin substrates based on organic optoelectronics. Our findings can advance the high-throughput manufacture of ultrathin electronic devices integrating complex functions.

All-solution-processed ultraflexible wearable sensor enabled with universal trilayer structure for organic optoelectronic devices

The inherent flexibility and excellent mechanical strength of lead halide perovskite quantum dots (LHP‐QDs) films have attracted much attention in the fields of flexible lighting, displays, non‐planar x‐ray imaging, and wearable optoelectronics. Unfortunately, the complicated synthesis process and poor stability limit its practical applications, hence there is an urgent need to develop a feasible fabrication process for films to attain high device performance. Herein, a molecular level hybridization of bridged polysilsesquioxane (BPSQ) is designed as matrix to harvest both flexibility of organics and stability of inorganics, resulting in improved interfacial compatibility between the CsPbBr3 QDs and the matrix through chemical bond anchoring. The CsPbBr3@3‐aminopropyl‐triethoxysilane (APTES)@BPSQ films showcase bright narrow‐band photoluminescence, with a photoluminescence quantum yield of 61% and a half‐peak full width at half maximum of <17 nm. Notably, these films demonstrate excellent environmental stability, UV resistance, water stability (experiencing only an 18% decrease in luminescence intensity after 168 h of water immersion), and high‐temperature stability (withstanding temperatures up to 500 K). Furthermore, white light‐emitting diodes (WLEDs) and anti‐counterfeiting patterns have been fabricated using CsPbBr3@APTES@BPSQ, highlighting their wide application potential in flexible light‐emitting devices and information encryption.

According to ISO/TR 23383, smart textiles reversibly interact with their environment and respond or adapt to changes in the environment. The present review and bibliometric analysis was performed on 5810 documents (1989–2022) from the Scopus database, using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny for science mapping. The results show that the field of smart textiles is highly interdisciplinary and dynamic, with an average growth rate of 22% and exponential growth in the last 10 years. Beeby, S.P., and Torah, R.N. have published the highest number of papers, while Wang, Z.L. has the highest number of citations. The leading journals are Sensors, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, and Textile Research Journal, while Advanced Materials has the highest number of citations. China is the country with the most publications and the most extensive cooperative relationships with other countries. Research on smart textiles is largely concerned with new materials and technologies, particularly in relation to electronic textiles. Recent research focuses on energy generation (triboelectric nanogenerators, thermoelectrics, Joule heating), conductive materials (MXenes, liquid metal, silver nanoparticles), sensors (strain sensors, self-powered sensors, gait analysis), speciality products (artificial muscles, soft robotics, EMI shielding), and advanced properties of smart textiles (self-powered, self-cleaning, washable, sustainable smart textiles).
