Lightweight, few-layer graphene composites with improved electro-thermal properties as efficient heating devices for de-icing applications
Housseinou Ba,Lai Truong-Phuoc,Thierry Romero,Christophe Sutter,Jean-Mario Nhut,Guy Schlatter,Giuliano Giambastiani,Cuong Pham-Huu +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation of few-layer graphene-based (FLG) polymer composites obtained from the surface coating of selected polymer matrices with an electrically conductive and thin FLG “skin” was described.

Microfluidic conceived Trojan microcarriers for oral delivery of nanoparticles.
Ikram Ullah Khan,Ikram Ullah Khan,Ikram Ullah Khan,Christophe A. Serra,Christophe A. Serra,Nicolas Anton,Mériem Er-Rafik,Christian Blanck,Marc Schmutz,Isabelle Kraus,Nadia Messaddeq,Christophe Sutter,Halina Anton,Andrey S. Klymchenko,Thierry F. Vandamme +14 more
TL;DR: This novel method has shown possibility to develop Trojan particles convieniently with potential to deliver nanoparticles in the gastrointestinal tract and showed that Trojan microparticles released embedded nanoparticles on contact with suitable media as confirmed by transmission electron microscopy.

Polyvinyl Alcohol-Few Layer Graphene Composite Films Prepared from Aqueous Colloids. Investigations of Mechanical, Conductive and Gas Barrier Properties
Benoit Van der Schueren,Hamza El Marouazi,Anurag Mohanty,Patrick Lévêque,Christophe Sutter,Thierry Romero,Izabela Janowska +6 more
TL;DR: Polyvinyl alcohol films containing few layer graphene (FLG) are prepared by the co-mixing of aqueous colloids and casting, where the FLG colloid is first obtained via an efficient, rapid, simple, and bio-compatible exfoliation method providing access to relatively large FLG flakes.

Polyvinyl Alcohol-Few Layer Graphene Composite Films Prepared from Aqueous Colloids. Investigations of Mechanical, Conductive and Gas Barrier Properties
Benoit Van der Schueren,Hamza El Marouazi,Anurag Mohanty,Patrick Lévêque,Christophe Sutter,Thierry Romero,Izabela Janowska +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films containing few layer graphene (FLG) are prepared by co-mixing of aqueous colloids and casting, where the FLG colloid is first obtained via an effcient, rapid, simple, and bio-compatible exfoliation method providing access to relatively large FLG flakes.
