TL;DR: Treatment with SOF plus DCV was associated with a high SVR12 and low rates of serious adverse events among liver recipients with HCV recurrence, demonstrating the great efficacy of one combination of new all-oral direct-acting antiviral, sofosbuvir and daclatasvir, to treat the recurrence of hepatitis C on the graft.

Liver stiffness and platelet count for identifying patients with compensated liver disease at low risk of variceal bleeding
Astrid Marot,Eric Trepo,Christopher Doerig,Alain M. Schoepfer,Christophe Moreno,Pierre Deltenre,Pierre Deltenre +6 more
TL;DR: The aim was to synthesize the available evidence on the usefulness of the combined use of liver stiffness and platelet count to identify patients without oesophageal varices.

Shortened treatment duration in treatment-naive genotype 1 HCV patients with rapid virological response: a meta-analysis.
Christophe Moreno,Pierre Deltenre,Jean-Michel Pawlotsky,Jean Henrion,Michael Adler,Philippe Mathurin +5 more
TL;DR: In HCV-1 patients with a rapid virological response, 24 weeks of combination therapy with PEG-IFN alpha and ribavirin should be considered only in subjects with low baseline viral load, however, the optimal cut-off defining low baseline virus load and the impact of the presence of other factors capable of altering treatment response, remain subject to debate.

TL;DR: In this paper , the risk of alcohol relapse after transplantation in the early transplantation group compared with the standard transplant group using the alcohol timeline follow back (TLFB) method and a prespecified non-inferiority margin of 10%.
