Usefulness of a novel serum proteome-derived index FI-PRO (fibrosis-protein) in the prediction of fibrosis in chronic hepatitis C.
Kin Jip Cheung,Kelly Tilleman,Dieter Deforce,Isabelle Colle,Christophe Moreno,Thierry Gustot,Hans Van Vlierberghe +6 more
TL;DR: Proteome-derived protein markers were successfully implemented in clinical diagnosis of hepatitis C fibrosis, which resulted in the FI-PRO index, which had an overall positive predictive value for significant fibrosis and a negative predictive value of at least 90% for advanced fibrosis.

Berg,Stefan Zeuzem,Christoph Welsch,Christoph Sarrazin +24 more
TL;DR: Subtype 4r harboured considerably more RASs compared to other subtypes, and a resistance‐tailored retreatment using first‐ and second‐generation DAAs was highly effective with SVR rates ≥90% across all subtypes and first‐line treatment regimens.
