Iron-Catalyzed Hydrogen Transfer Reduction of Nitroarenes with Alcohols: Synthesis of Imines and Aza Heterocycles.
Jiajun Wu,Christophe Darcel +1 more
TL;DR: A straightforward and selective reduction of nitroarenes with various alcohols was efficiently developed using an iron catalyst via a hydrogen transfer methodology, which led specifically to imines in 30-91% yields, with a good functional group tolerance.

A Concise Route to Cyclic Amines from Nitroarenes and Ketoacids under Iron-Catalyzed Hydrosilylation Conditions
TL;DR: In this paper, a selective synthesis of cyclic amines such as pyrrolidines, piperidines and azepanes from levulinic acid, 1,5- and 1,6-keto acids, respectively, was conducted under both visible light irradiation and thermal conditions with 20 examples in isolated yields up to 69%.

The First C3-Symmetric P-Stereogenic Diphosphinomethane Trinuclear Palladium Clusters: Synthesis and Characterization
Christine Salomon,Christine Salomon,Daniel Fortin,Christophe Darcel,Christophe Darcel,Sylvain Jugé,Pierre D. Harvey +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the enantiomeric ligands (R,R)- and (S,S)-bis(o-anisylphenylphosphino)methane (R-R-14 and S,S-14, respectively) were used to prepare the C 3-point group clusters [Pd3(dppm*)3(CO)(O2CCF3)](CF3CO2) with dppm* ǫ = (R/R)-14 or (S/S)-14.
