TL;DR: In this paper , the authors found insufficient evidence of excess harm associated with the use of off-label intravenous thrombolysis in selected patients who had taken a direct oral anticoagulant within the previous 48 hours.
Chronic hyperglycemia is associated with acute kidney injury in patients undergoing CABG surgery - a cohort study
M. Oezkur,Martin Wagner,Dirk Weismann,Jens Holger Krannich,Christoph Schimmer,Christoph Riegler,Victoria Rücker,Rainer Leyh,Peter U. Heuschmann +8 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that CHG defined on a single measurement of HbA1c ≥ 6.0 % was associated with the incidence of AKI after CABG, which might implicate that treatment decisions, including the selection of operative strategies, could be based on Hb a1c measurement rather than on a recorded history of diabetes.

Barbara Magg,Christoph Riegler,Silke Wiedmann,Peter U. Heuschmann,Claudia Sommer,Nurcan Üçeyler +5 more
TL;DR: This self-administered version of the first pain questionnaire for adult Fabry patients is a useful tool to assess Fabry-associated pain without a time-consuming face-to-face interview but via a self-reporting survey allowing more flexible usage.

Julia Lange,Frederik Weil,Christoph Riegler,Florian Groeber,Silke Rebhan,Szymon Kurdyn,Miriam Alb,Hermann Kneitz,Götz Gelbrich,Heike Walles,Stephan Mielke +10 more

TL;DR: In patients with isolated PCA occlusion, SR was associated with a higher rate of FPE compared with CA or combined techniques with no difference in final successful reperfusion, and functional independence at 90 days was more likely with first‐line SR compared withCA, and FPE wasassociated with better 90‐day clinical outcomes.
