Co-crystal formation based on structural matching.
Liping Zhou,Stephanie Kay Dodd,Christina Capacci-Daniel,Sudhakar Garad,Riccardo Panicucci,Vijay Sethuraman +5 more
TL;DR: 4-aminobenzoic co-crystal had 12 times higher exposure than the free form thus overcoming the solubility limited exposure and was chosen for in-vivo comparison with thefree form.

Design and synthesis of lactam-thiophene carboxylic acids as potent hepatitis C virus polymerase inhibitors.
David Barnes-Seeman,Carri Boiselle,Christina Capacci-Daniel,Rajiv Chopra,Keith Hoffmaster,Christopher T. Jones,Mitsunori Kato,Kai Lin,Sue Ma,Guoyu Pan,Lei Shu,Jianling Wang,Leah Whiteman,Mei Xu,Zheng Rui,Jiping Fu +15 more
TL;DR: The successful incorporation of a lactam as an amide replacement in the design of hepatitis C virus NS5B Site II thiophene carboxylic acid inhibitors shows a favorable pharmacokinetic profile in rats and dogs.

Counterion quantification for discovery chemistry and pre-formulation salt screening
John Reilly,Penny Wright,Jay Larrow,Thierry Mann,Joseph Twomey,Melissa S. Grondine,Stephanie Kay Dodd,Christina Capacci-Daniel,Jennifer Bilotta,Lipa Shah,Christopher Towler +10 more
TL;DR: A fast method was developed to determine the amount of anions and cations present in discovery samples using a reagent free ion chromatography system and has the ability to accurately quantify undesirable counterions that may be present due to process related manipulation of material and to quantify salt equivalents for “mixed” salt samples.
