Highly sensitive ultraviolet photodetectors fabricated from ZnO quantum dots/carbon nanodots hybrid films.
TL;DR: The introduction of carbon nanodots improves the performance of the photodetectors greatly, and the mechanism for the high sensitivity has been attributed to the enhanced carrier-separation at the ZnO/C interface.
Self-powered NiO@ZnO-nanowire-heterojunction ultraviolet micro-photodetectors
Luo Yi,Zibin Dong,Yancheng Chen,Ying Zhang,Ying-Jie Lu,Tianyu Xia,Lingrui Wang,Shunfang Li,Weifeng Zhang,Wenfeng Xiang,Chongxin Shan,Haizhong Guo +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a micro p-n nanowire-heterojunction constructed from NiO-coated Ni core-shell nanowires combined with a ZnO layer (NiO@ZnO) is presented.
Enhancing the mechanoluminescence of traditional ZnS:Mn phosphors via Li+ Co-doping
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple and effective strategy to enhance the mechanoluminescence performance of ZnS:Mn phosphor by Li ion co-doping was presented.
Surface chemical engineering towards efficient and bright chemiluminescent carbon nanodots
Cheng-Long Shen,Jinhao Zang,Qing Lou,Guang-Song Zheng,Meng-Yuan Wu,Yang-Li Ye,Jinyang Zhu,Kai-Kai Liu,Lin Dong,Chongxin Shan +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a surface chemical regulation strategy was introduced to improve the luminance and lifetime of carbon nanodots (CDs) for new-generation cold lighting and bioimaging technology due to their tunable and efficient emissions.
