Superhydrophobic Nanodiamond-Functionalized Melamine Sponge for Oil/Water Separation.
TL;DR: In this article , a superhydrophobic sponge with hierarchical microstructures was fabricated by embedding nanodiamonds into a melamine sponge skeleton via a simple immersion-drying process.
Photodetectors based on inorganic halide perovskites: Materials and devices
Abstract: The newly emerging metal halide perovskites have attracted considerable attention due to their exceptional optoelectronic properties. This upsurge was initially driven when the power conversion efficiency of perovskite-based photovoltaic devices exceeded 23%. Due to their optoelectronic properties, perovskite materials have also been used in light-emitting diodes, photodetectors, lasers, and memory devices. This study comprehensively discusses the recent progress of all-inorganic perovskite-based photodetectors, focusing on their structures, morphologies of their constituent materials, and diverse device architectures that improve the performance metrics of these photodetectors. A brief outlook, highlighting the main existing problems, possible solutions to these problems, and future development directions, is also provided herein.
Piezophototronic-Effect-Enhanced Electrically Pumped Lasing.
Xun Yang,Xun Yang,Lin Dong,Chongxin Shan,Chongxin Shan,Junlu Sun,Nan Zhang,Shuangpeng Wang,Mingming Jiang,Binghui Li,Xiuhua Xie,Dezhen Shen +11 more
TL;DR: This study demonstrates significant improvements of ZnO nanowire lasers by the piezophototronic effect, and the laser output power can be enhanced by a factor of 4.96 and the threshold voltage can be decreased from 48 to 20 V by applying pressure.
Light-modulated vertical heterojunction phototransistors with distinct logical photocurrents
Jiayue Han,Meiyu He,Ming Yang,Qi Han,Fang Wang,Fang Zhong,Mengjian Xu,Qing Li,He Zhu,Chongxin Shan,Weida Hu,Xiaoqing Chen,Xinran Wang,Jun Gou,Zhiming Wu,Jun Wang +15 more
TL;DR: This paper demonstrates a graphene/C 60 /pentacene vertical phototransistor to tune both the photoresponse time and photocurrent based on light modulation, and probes the primary reason for the distinct modulation results between the 5 and 11 nm C 60 devices.
On the nature of the carriers in ferromagnetic FeSe
Xiaojun Wu,D.Z. Shen,Z.Z. Zhang,J. Y. Zhang,Kewei Liu,Bo-Tao Li,Yegang Lu,Bin Yao,D.X. Zhao,B. S. Li,Chongxin Shan,Xin Fan,H. J. Liu,Chunlei Yang +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the optical and electrical properties of FeSe thin films are studied by both optical absorption and Hall measurements, which suggest that ferromagnetic FeSe is a metal instead of a semiconductor.
