Zone electrophoresis on starch of preparations of follicle-stimulating hormone from sheep pituitary glands.
TL;DR: Preparations of follicle-stimulating hormone from sheep pituitary glands have been examined by means of zone electrophoresis on starch and it was found that the activity was not associated with the main protein component, and the active component as well as the contaminating components had an isoelectric point at pH 4.6.
