TL;DR: Effective linkages between malaria control and antenatal care programs are advocated to improve perinatal outcome and a higher proportion of infected placenta was associated with lower fetal length and head circumference, although no significant difference was observed.

TL;DR: Results from the study suggest that there is a need for development of advocacy strategies to ensure that mothers not only receive education on appropriate complementary feeding practices but also for there to be a behavioural change among the mothers.
