Improvement of mechanical properties and anticorrosion performance of epoxy coatings by the introduction of polyaniline/graphene composite
Yen-Ting Lin,Trong-Ming Don,Chong-Jun Wong,Fan-chun Meng,Lin Yi-Jun,Shaio-Yen Lee,Chia-Fen Lee,Wen-Yen Chiu +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported the preparation of epoxy coatings incorporated with a composite filler of poly(styrenesulfonate)-polyaniline/reduced graphene oxide (PSS-PANI/rGO) and their performance on the mechanical and anticorrosion properties.

Morphology and temperature responsiveness-swelling relationship of poly(N-isopropylamide-chitosan) copolymers and their application to drug release
TL;DR: In this paper, an anionic initiator and a cationic initiator were used to initiate the reaction of copolymerization, and the effect of various variables such as the chitosan/NIPAAm weight ratio, the concentration of crosslinking agent and the pH values on the swelling ratio of chitosa-nipaam copolymers was investigated.

Synthesis of iron oxide/poly(methyl methacrylate) composite latex particles: Nucleation mechanism and morphology
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of various polymerization parameters, such as the monomer concentration, ferrofluid content, and initiator concentration, on the conversion curve and particle size of the magnetic composite latex particles were examined in detail.

Synthesis of poly(chitosan‐N‐isopropylacrylamide) complex particles with the method of soapless dispersion polymerization
TL;DR: In this paper, a crosslinked poly(chitosan-N-isopropylacrylamide) [poly(NIPAAM-chitsan)] complex was successfully synthesized with the method of soapless dispersion polymerization.

Thermal/pH-sensitive core-shell copolymer latex and its potential for targeting drug carrier application
TL;DR: In this article, the properties of a thermal/pH-sensitive core-shell copolymer latex were studied and its potential application as a targeting drug carrier was also investigated, where the crosslinked copolymers of N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) and chitosan was synthesized by soapless dispersion polymerization as the core, and methacrylic acid (MAA) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) was prepared as the shell.
