Association between radiation heart dosimetric parameters, myocardial infarct and overall survival in stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer treated with definitive thoracic radiotherapy.
Chia Ching Lee,Huili Zheng,Yu Yang Soon,Ling Li Foo,Wee Yao Koh,Cheng Nang Leong,Balamurugan Vellayappan,Jeremy Tey,Ivan Weng Keong Tham +8 more
TL;DR: The incidence of AMI is low among stage III NSCLC treated with definitive radiotherapy with or without chemotherapy and there is insufficient evidence to conclude that RHDPs are associated with AMI or OS in this study.

Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy versus Conventional External Beam Radiation Therapy for Painful Bone Metastases: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Randomized Trials.
TL;DR: In this article , the authors compared the efficacy and safety of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and conventional external beam radiation therapy in patients with previously unirradiated painful bone metastases (BM).

Are heart doses associated with survival in patients with non-small cell lung cancer who received post-operative thoracic radiotherapy?: A national population-based study.
Chia Ching Lee,Gail Wan Ying Chua,Huili Zheng,Yu Yang Soon,Ling Li Foo,Anuradha Thiagarajan,Swee Peng Yap,Tian Rui Siow,W.L. Ng,Kevin L.M. Chua,Connie Yip,Brendan Seng Hup Chia,Yan Yee Ng,Zubin Master,Poh Wee Tan,Yun Inn Tan,Yuh Fun Leong,Joan Faith Evacula Loria,Balamurugan Vellayappan,Wee Yao Koh,Cheng Nang Leong,Jeremy Tey,Ivan Weng Keong Tham,Kam Weng Fong +23 more
TL;DR: There is insufficient evidence to conclude that RHDPs are associated with OS for patients with NSCLC treated with PORT in this study, and studies with larger sample size and longer term follow-up are needed to assess AMI outcome.

Clinical Outcomes of Dose-escalated Radiotherapy for Localised Prostate Cancer: A Single-institution Experience.
Katherine Meng,Keith Hsiu Chin Lim,Chia Ching Lee,David Chia,Kiat Huat Ooi,Yu Yang Soon,Jeremy Tey +6 more
TL;DR: Dose escalation to >74 Gy did not improve overall survival (OS) or freedom from biochemical failure (FFBF) but was associated with a higher rate of grade 3 or more rectal haemorrhage.

Frequency of discordance in programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression between primary tumors and paired distant metastases in advanced cancers: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
TL;DR: Almost one-third of advanced cancer cases have discordance in PD-L1 expression between primary tumors and paired distant metastases, suggesting a more liberal testing of PD- L1 expression in both primary and metastatic tumors is recommended in order to identify patients who may benefit from immune checkpoint blockade treatment.
