An Energy-Based Safety Evaluation Index of Blast Vibration
TL;DR: In this paper, an energy-based dual safety standard was proposed to more comprehensively explain all failure modes of structures under blast vibrations, and the maximum instantaneous input energy and hysteretic energy were selected as the basis of the dual safety criterion, because they can reflect first-excursion failure and cumulative plastic damage failure, respectively.
Numerical modeling of rock fracture and fragmentation under impact loading using discrete element method
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose an approach to simulate the process of fracture and fragmentation of rock materials in geomechanics and blasting engineering, which can simulate the fracture and the fragmentation of a rock material.

- 19 Dec 2012
TL;DR: In this article, a time difference positioning system for the deep well drill bit position consisting of a signal sensor array, a signal processor, and a computer is presented, where the signal processor eliminates a noise jamming signal in a drilling operation environment to obtain a vibration signal of a drill bit according to a vibrating acoustic wave signal measured by the signal sensor arrays and performs analog/digital conversion on the vibration signal.
