TL;DR: Women reported that partner concurrency and competition for acceptable men partners, “Man-Sharing,” among midlife African American women influenced sexual decision-making, potentially resulting in greater risk for HIV infection.

Social Workers' Culture-Based Countertransferences
TL;DR: The authors explored manifestation to culture-based countertransferences among a cross-cultural sample of seventeen social workers and identified five CBCs most frequently occurring among social workers during the counseling process: recognizing clients' life achievements, resilience, and strengths; expectations and prescriptions; social workers' assessments, labels and views of clients; what to ask and not to ask clients; and activities to avoid and distance.
