An efficient auxiliary variable method for quantification of spin density, R ∗ 2 decay and field inhomogeneity maps in magnetic resonance imaging
Chenxi Hu,Stanley J. Reeves +1 more
- 16 Apr 2015
TL;DR: A novel auxiliary variable method is proposed that is very efficient in solving the underlying optimization problem of spin density, R2* decay and off-resonance frequency maps by introducing an auxiliary variable in the spatial-temporal domain that separates the data fidelity term and the structure fidelity term.

A regularized trust region method for joint reconstruction of spin magnitude, T 2 ∗ decay, and off-resonance field map
Chenxi Hu,Stanley J. Reeves +1 more
- 01 Oct 2014
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed a regularized trust region (TR) method that reconstructs the three images by solving a constrained linear sub-problem in each iteration, which employs a change-of-variable technique, making the sub problem linear yet keeping the convergence fast.

Trust region methods for estimation of a complex exponential decay model in MRI with a single-shot or multi-shot trajectory (in review)
Chenxi Hu,Stanley Reeves +1 more
- 05 May 2015
TL;DR: This work presents two trust region methods based on two different linearization strategies for the nonlinear signal model that have a clear advantage in both speed and stability.
