Non-Rayleigh scattering behavior for anisotropic Rayleigh particles
TL;DR: Under certain conditions, an asymptotical relation between Q (sca) and q, i.e., Q(sca)=Fq(8), is demonstrated, which is not realizable for isotropic particles in Rayleigh regime, but suitable adjustment of the anisotropic parameters can further suppress the coefficient F, resulting in enhanced transparency of theAnisotropic particle.
Eigenfunctional representation of dyadic Green's functions in multilayered gyrotropic chiral media
TL;DR: In this article, a complete eigenfunctional expansion of the dyadic Green's functions for an unbounded and a planar, arbitrary multilayered gyrotropic chiral media is formulated in terms of the vector wavefunctions.
Mie series for electromagnetic scattering of chiral metamaterials sphere
TL;DR: In this article, the Mie series method was used to simulate the electromagnetic scattering of chiral metamaterials and normal media, and the numerical results showed that the existence of chirality ξ of CHs can decrease the bistatic RCS compared with the same size as normal media sphere.

Bereneice Sephton,Yao-Wei Huang,Yao-Wei Huang,Antonio Ambrosio,Antonio Ambrosio,Cheng-Wei Qiu,Adam Vallés,Adam Vallés,Takashige Omatsu,Frederico Capasso,Andrew Forbes +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the purity and conversion efficiency of hybrid orbital angular momentum (OAM)-generating metasurfaces were investigated and quantitatively studied by implementing a modal decomposition approach.

Photorealistic rendering of a graded negative-index metamaterial magnifier
TL;DR: In this article, a reverse design scheme for designing a metamaterial magnifier with graded negative refractive index for both the two-dimensional and three-dimensional cases has been proposed, where photorealistic rendering is integrated with trace ray trajectories in example designs to visualize the scattering magnification.
