TL;DR: In this article , a multiobjective particle swarm algorithm was used to consider three functions of land-use allocation: maximizing GDP, minimizing carbon emissions, and maximizing suitability, and the technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method was combined to find the optimal solution for carbon emission and economic development trade-offs.

A parallel method to accelerate spatial operations involving polygon intersections
TL;DR: This work improved a method called boundary algebra filling to efficiently rasterize the input polygons and developed parallel strategies for different procedures in terms of workload decomposition and task scheduling, suggesting that the workload across different parallel processes can be balanced.

Data decomposition method for parallel polygon rasterization considering load balancing
TL;DR: Experimental results showed that DMPC could effectively parallelize different polygon rasterization algorithms and generally outperformed conventional decomposition methods in terms of parallel efficiency and load balancing and exhibited consistently better performance for different spatial distributions of polygons.

TL;DR: In this paper, a vector data concurrent conversion method from a VCT file to a shape file is proposed, which comprises the steps of respectively establishing a file header, element type parameters, an attribute data structure, annotations, geometric figure data and element indexes of attribute data in the VCT files at first, conducting statistics on geometric data types of each layer, sorting the layers with the same geometric data type according to the included geometric data bulk, and accumulating point data of the layers to obtain total point data w.

TL;DR: A topology-preserving polygon rasterization algorithm to avoid topological errors and achieves a topological accuracy of more than 99% when raster cell size is 30 m or smaller.
