Effects of aging treatment on the precipitation behavior of ε-Cu phase and mechanical properties of metal injection molding 17-4PH stainless steel
Chen Yuan Chung,Yu Chih Tzeng +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of precipitation hardening on the microstructure and mechanical properties of metal injection molding (MIM) 17-4PH was investigated, and the results showed that the micro-structure of the as-sintered MIM 17 4PH was mainly composed of lath martensite, δ-ferrite, and nodular SiO2 inclusions.

Integrated Optimum Layout of Conformal Cooling Channels and Optimal Injection Molding Process Parameters for Optical Lenses
TL;DR: In this article, a finite element analysis is combined with a gradient-based algorithm and robust genetic algorithm to determine the optimum layout of cooling channels to reduce the surface temperature difference of the melt, ejection, and warpage.

Effects of trace amounts of Zr and Sc on the recrystallization behavior and mechanical properties of Al-4.5Zn-1.6Mg alloys
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of Zr and Sc on the recrystallization behavior and mechanical properties in Al4.5Zn-1.6Mg alloy were investigated to understand the strengthening mechanism and to improve the mechanical properties.

Hot deformation behavior and processing map of AZ61/SiC composites
Murugan Subramani,Yu Chih Tzeng,Li-Wei Tseng,Ying-Kuan Tsai,Gunng-Shinng Chen,Chen Yuan Chung,Song-Jeng Huang +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the incorporation of silicon carbide (SiC) particles into the base alloy are discussed, and the results show that the SiC particles promoted the generation and reduced the mobility of dislocations, effectively meeting the energy requirements for dynamic recrystallization needed to improve low temperature workability.

Effects of Injection Molding Process Parameters on the Chemical Foaming Behavior of Polypropylene and Polystyrene.
TL;DR: In this paper, semi-crystalline polypropylene (PP) and amorphous polystyrene (PS) were adopted as matrix materials, and three process parameters were adopted, namely injection speed, melt temperature, and mold temperature; three levels were set for each factor in the one-factor-at-a-time experimental design.
