The method has the advantages that the high-resistant-starch rice and medium-low amylase are used forhybridization, biparental high-quality rice varieties which are high in resistant starch content and medium and low in amylase content and take both the alkali spreading value and the soft gel consistency into consideration are bred, the pertinence is strong, and effective polymerization of high-quality characters is achieved.

The breeding method comprises the following steps that a rice germplasm GDRS1120-3 with a resistant starch content higher than or equal to 5% is selected as a female parent, a species gui-chao 2 which has a high yield and good agronomic characters is selected as a male parent, hybridization is conducted to obtain a hybridization F1 generation, F1 plants are used as female parents, the female parents and the maleparent gui-chao 2 are subjected to backcross to obtain a backcross BC1F1 generation, by means of molecular marker assistant selection, plants, which contain high-resistant starch genes, in the BC1F1 generation are screened out for selfing to obtain BC1F2, the screening step is repeated, and selfing is conducted continuously for 6 generations to obtain a rice species GDRS1620 with high-resistant starch. The resistant starch content of the rice bred through the method is significantly higher than those of existing rice species, and the agronomic characters are good; moreover, by means of the breeding method, a breeding process can be shortened, the breeding efficiency is improved, and economic benefits are further improved.
