Highly sensitive and rapid detection of resorcinol by forming fluorescent azamonardine with dopamine.
Tiantian Long,Jing Cheng,Chen Peng,Weizhen Xu,H. Luo,Min Ouyang,Dongmei Xu,Qinlu Lin,Jianping Qu,Xiaohui Huang +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a sensitive, selective, and rapid fluorescent assay for detecting resorcinol (RC) based on its specific chemical reaction with dopamine was proposed, which was completed within 1 min showing great potential for point-of-care testing.

Visualizing and sorbing Hg(II) with a cellulose-based red fluorescence aerogel: Simultaneous detection and removal.
Chen Peng,Tiantian Long,Ouyang Min,Hongmei Luo,Dong Xu,Qinlu Lin +5 more
TL;DR: Researchers develop a cellulose-based fluorescent aerogel for simultaneous Hg(II) detection and removal via cross-linking cellulose nanocrystals and gold nanoclusters. The aerogel exhibits strong red fluorescence and high sorption capacity for Hg(II), with a detection limit of 12.7 μg/L and 483.21 mg/g sorption capacity.
