The method comprises the following steps: step 1, creating a temporary facility family for automatically calculating the engineering temporary facility cost; step 2, creating a model of engineering temporary facilities; 3, extracting engineering quantity and feature information of the model by using engineering temporary facility cost analysis software to form an inquiry table; 4, carrying out market inquiry, and filling the unit price of each engineering quantity; 5, copying the unit price of the engineering quantity back to the construction cost information file, extracting construction cost information by using engineering temporary facility cost analysis software, and calculating a cost sum price; 6, designing a new engineering temporary facility arrangement scheme, and repeating the processes from the step 1 to the step 5; and 7, comparing the cost prices of the at least three engineering temporary facility schemes, and exporting a drawing by using the model conforming to the lowest construction cost. According to the method, the technical problems of low calculation speed, low analysis capability and low calculation accuracy of the traditional engineering temporary facility cost are solved.
