Engineering application of a safety-state evaluation model for hidden frame-supported glass curtain walls based on remote vibration
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper used a laser doppler vibrometer (LDV) for the safety-state evaluation of hidden frame-supported glass curtain walls (HFSGCW).

A new method for quantitative identification of potential landslide
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors proposed a safety factor of cohesion (SFc) and an improved slope stability analysis based on two safety factors to identify potentially dangerous landslides, which is the major source of the most destructive landslides.

Temporal Variations in the Quantity of Groundwater Flow in Nam Co Lake
TL;DR: In this article, the spatial and temporal variations in the groundwater flow quantity in Nam Co Lake based on the water balance principle were analyzed and the results showed that a large amount of groundwater was gradually lost and that, groundwater loss decreased from 1.9 billion m3 to 1.5 billion m 3 from the period of 1980-1984 to 1995-2009.

Du Yan,Mowen Xie,Lu Yongdu,Chen Chen,Liu Weinan +4 more
- 17 May 2019
TL;DR: In this article, a collapse early warning method based on separation failure precursor recognition is proposed, which includes the steps that dangerous rocks prone to collapse are selected as monitoring objects in a potential happening area of collapsed dangerous rocks; a suitable vibration monitoring instrument is chose according to a geographic and geomorphic condition of the potential collapsing area; the vibration monitoring device is installed; obtained vibration monitoring data are processed, and a natural vibration frequency curve of dangerous rock bodies is obtained; and separation failure precursory time is recognized.

- 01 Mar 2021
TL;DR: Based on the theory of thin-slab vibration, the laser vibration measurement technology in this paper was used to analyze the relationship between the multi-order natural frequency and the safety status of the point-supported experimental curtain wall model.
