Shear resistance and deflection prediction of steel–concrete–steel sandwich panel with headed stud connectors
Wang Lian-guang,Chen Bai-ling +1 more
TL;DR: In this article , a bending test was conducted on eight specimens to investigate the mechanical behavior of steel-concrete-steel (SCS) sandwich panels with headed studs, taking into account the effects including loading mode, steel plate thickness, concrete core thickness and connectors spacing, and one sandwich panel was used as a control specimen.

Modeling Prediction of Composite Foundation Settlement
TL;DR: Based on an analysis of the developing mechanism of composite foundation settlement in combination with the characteristics of Verhulst gray model, a VerHulst grey model was specially developed to reflect the characteristic of settlement-time curve, such as its monotone increasing, boundedness and S-shape.
