Correlation between ID⁄IG Ratio from Visible Raman Spectra and sp2/sp3 Ratio from XPS Spectra of Annealed Hydrogenated DLC Film
TL;DR: The relationship between I D/I G ratio fitted from visible Raman spectra and sp 2 /sp 3 ratio done from XPS spectra of DLCH film shows a trend as discussed by the authors.

Multipeak fitting analysis of Raman spectra on DLCH film
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared nine peak fitting functions, including Gaussian, Lorentzian and Breit-Wigner-Fano (BWF) functions, for hydrogenated diamond-like carbon (DLCH) films.

Effect of film thickness and interlayer on the adhesion strength of diamond like carbon films on different substrates
Chehung Wei,Jui-Ying Yen +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a diamond-like carbon (DLC) films with interlayer titanium and chromium is used to increase the adhesion strength in thin film coating and the results show that as the film thickness increases, the ratio of I(D)/I(G) increases and the hardness decreases.

Raman and X-ray diffraction analysis on unburned carbon powder refined from fly ash
TL;DR: In this paper, the bonding and crystalline structures of oil-fried fly ash collected from a power plant were analyzed by using Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD), respectively.

The effect of thermal and plastic mismatch on stress distribution in diamond like carbon film under different interlayer/substrate system
Chehung Wei,Chien-Hung Chen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a finite element program was used to simulate the thermal cooling and indentation process of a diamond-like carbon (DLC) on a nonferrous substrate.
