International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC) written questionnaire: validation of the asthma component among Brazilian children.
TL;DR: The asthma component of the ISAAC written questionnaire was proven to be reproducible, adequate and able to differentiate between asthmatics and controls, however the results suggest that adolescents' parents or guardians underestimate asthma symptoms which interfere little with the adolescent's daily activities.

Prevalence of symptoms of asthma, rhinitis, and atopic eczema among Brazilian children and adolescents identified by the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC) - Phase 3.
TL;DR: In this article, the authors determined the prevalence of symptoms of asthma, rhinitis, and atopic eczema among schoolchildren aged 6 to 7 years and adolescents aged 13 to 14 years in 20 Brazilian cities by using the standardized ISAAC written questionnaire and assessed the association of this prevalence with latitude, altitude and average annual temperature of collaborating centers.

International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood: Validation of the rhinitis symptom questionnaire and prevalence of rhinitis in schoolchildren in São Paulo, Brazil
TL;DR: Therhinitis component of the ISAAC WQ was proven to be reproducible, adequate and able to discriminate children and adolescents with and without rhinitis, and it was revealed that the prevalence of Rhinitis among Brazilian children living in the city of São Paulo was as high as the prevalence in other areas of the world.
