High-growth entrepreneurial firm funding: a qualitative study of native-born and immigrant entrepreneurs

A Performance-Related Study of Reverse Mergers Using Private Investment in Private Equity (PIPE) Strategies
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors found that Chinese firms who engage in reverse mergers through the use of PIPES (traditional and structured), on average, raise over 400% more initial investment, experience higher postmerger market capitalization valuations at closing and post-merger, take place on higher level U.S. stock exchanges, have a higher rate of survival (influenced by sector) and experience significantly better short and long-term buy and hold returns.
