TL;DR: This paper proposes to select the pixels with small prediction-error as embedding pixels (i.e., the pixels that carry watermark bits) in a dynamical way, and sees that the distortion is reduced comparing with the original method, and thus, the proposed approach has a better performance.

TL;DR: In this article, an embedding method and an extracting method of reversible watermarks, belonging to the technical field of digital watermarks are presented, which includes the following steps of: sequentially reading the pixel values of digital images, and establishing a position sign sequence; compressing the position sign sequences, and regulating a pixel with the pixel value of 0 or 255; calculating forecast error sequences of the digital images; selecting internal areas and parameters T which are needed in the embedding process; and embedding the reversible watermark according to the selected parameters.
