Remodeling of the immune and stromal cell compartment by PD-1 blockade in mismatch repair-deficient colorectal cancer
Jianxia Li,Cheng Wu,Huabin Hu,Ge Qin,Xueqian Wu,F. Bai,Jianwei Zhang,Yue-Cheng Cai,Yan Huang,Chao Wang,Jiaqi Yang,Yizhao Luan,Zehang Jiang,Jiayu Ling,Zehua Wu,Yaoxu Chen,Zhi Cong Xie,Yanhong Deng +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper , single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) was used to investigate the dynamics of immune and stromal cells in 19 patients with d-MMR/MSI-H colorectal cancers who received neoadjuvant PD-1 blockade.

Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy With Oxaliplatin and Fluoropyrimidine Versus Upfront Surgery for Locally Advanced Colon Cancer: The Randomized, Phase III OPTICAL Trial.
Huabin Hu,Jianwei Zhang,Yunfeng Li,Xiaozhong Wang,Ziqiang Wang,Hui Wang,Liang Kang,Ping Liu,Ping Lan,Xiaojian Wu,Yunhuan Zhen,Haiping Pei,Zhongcheng Huang,Hao Zhang,Wenbin Chen,Yongming Zeng,Jiajun Lai,Hongbo Wei,Xuefeng Huang,Jiansi Chen,Jigui Chen,Kaixiong Tao,Qingwen Xu,Xiang Peng,Junlin Liang,Guanfu Cai,Kefeng Ding,Zhijie Ding,Ming Hu,Wei Zhang,Bo Tang,Chu-yuan Hong,Jie Cao,Zonghai Huang,Wuteng Cao,Fangqian Li,Xinhua Wang,Chao Wang,Yan Huang,Yandong Zhao,Yue-Cheng Cai,Jiayu Ling,Xiaoyu Xie,Zehua Wu,Lishuo Shi,Lisa Ling,Hao Liu,Jianping Wang,Meijin Huang,Yanhong Deng +49 more
TL;DR: NAC with mFOLFOX6 or CAPOX as NAC did not show a significant DFS benefit, but this neoadjuvant approach was safe, resulted in substantial pathologic downstaging, and appears to be a viable therapeutic option for locally advanced colon cancer.

Location of colorectal adenomas and serrated polyps in patients under age 50.
TL;DR: Among patients under age 50, advanced adenomas and ≥ 10-mm serrated polyps were predominantly in the distal colorectum, which might explain the rising trend of distalcolorectal cancer and emphasize the necessity for colonoscopy screening among these populations.

High-throughput proteomics profiling-derived signature associated with chemotherapy response and survival for stage II/III colorectal cancer
Shu Biao Ye,Yi Kan Cheng,Peisi Li,Lin Zhang,Lianhai Zhang,Yan Huang,Ping Chen,Yian Wang,Chao Wang,Jianhong Peng,Lisa Ling,Xiaojian Wu,Jun Qin,Zihuan Yang,P. Lan +14 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper used high-throughput proteomics to analyze tumor and adjacent normal tissues of stage II/III colorectal cancer patients with /without relapse to identify potential markers for predicting prognosis and benefit from ACT.
Prognosis and immunotherapy efficacy in dMMR&MSS colorectal cancer patients and an MSI status predicting model.
Xinhui Fu,Jinglin Huang,Junling Zhu,Xinjuan Fan,Chao Wang,Weihao Deng,Xiaoli Tan,Zhiting Chen,Yacheng Cai,Hanjie Lin,Ning Zhang,Yongmin Zhu,Ji Chen,Huanmiao Zhan,Shuhui Huang,Yongzhen Fang,Yuhua Li,Yan Huang +17 more
TL;DR: A new nomogram-based assay is proposed to find patients with dMMR&MSS, in which the MSI-PCR assay only detects dMMR patients with MSS predictive results, and the prediction model provides an economical way to screen dMMR&MSS patients.
