Cyclic compression stimulates osteoblast differentiation via activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.
Xi Chen,Jianmin Guo,Yu Yuan,Zhongguang Sun,Bing-Lin Chen,Xiaoyang Tong,Lingli Zhang,Chao Shen,Jun Zou +8 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that cyclic compressive load promoted osteoblast differentiation and may be dependent on the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in regard to magnitude and duration.
The roles of exercise in bone remodeling and in prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.
Yu Yuan,Xi Chen,Lingli Zhang,Juanni Wu,Jianming Guo,Dongchen Zou,Bing-Lin Chen,Zhongguang Sun,Chao Shen,Jun Zou +9 more
TL;DR: Progress made on the effects of exercise on bone cells, including bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, osteoblasts, osteocytes, and osteoclasts, as well as on bone mass, bone strength, and geometry are updated, hoping to provide a theoretical basis to improve osteoporosis prevention and treatment with exercise.
Can Long-Term Regular Practice of Physical Exercises Including Taichi Improve Finger Tapping of Patients Presenting With Mild Cognitive Impairment?
TL;DR: It is suggested that finger tapping frequency of MCI subjects was significantly lower compared to normal subjects without MCI, and long-term Tai Chi exercise could reduce this significant difference.
