Fabrication of magnetic bentonite/carboxymethyl chitosan/sodium alginate hydrogel beads for Cu (II) adsorption.
TL;DR: In this work, composite hydrogel beads based on magnetic bentonite/carboxymethyl chitosan/sodium alginate (Mag-Ben/CCS/Alg) were fabricated and their ability to adsorb copper ions in water was studied.

Fabrication of cross-linked chitosan beads grafted by polyethylenimine for efficient adsorption of diclofenac sodium from water
TL;DR: The epichlorohydrin-PEI adsorbent (EPCS@PEI) showed a maximum adsorption capacity of 253.32 mg/g and removal efficiency of nearly 100% for the DS in the initial 50 mg/L solution, where these initial findings are expected to promote further design and fabrication of effective adsorbents for practical applications.

Efficient adsorption of Pb(II) from aqueous solutions using aminopropyltriethoxysilane-modified magnetic attapulgite@chitosan (APTS-Fe3O4/APT@CS) composite hydrogel beads
TL;DR: APTS-Fe3O4/APT@CS is a promising hybrid adsorbent for effective removal of Pb(II) from water and compares favorably with other reported adsorbents.
