Studies have found that feline leukemia virus subgroup C receptor 1 (FLVCR1) is dysregulated in a variety of tumor tissues. However, with rare studies on FLVCR1 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the mechanism underneath is still unclear. In this study, we showed that the expression level of FLVCR1 was increased obviously in HCC patient samples and was experimentally confirmed in HCC cell lines in vitro. Furthermore, overexpression of FLVCR1 promoted the proliferation and migration of HCC cells by wound healing and 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine (EdU) labeling Assay experiments. These results provide a theoretical basis for FLVCR1 as a potential marker in HCC diagnosis, as well as a novel clinical treatment target.
