Linlin Shi,Jianyong Sheng,Guozhong Chen,Peng Zhu,Changping Shi,Bei Li,Chaiwoo Park,Jingyi Wang,Bixiang Zhang,Liu Zhi,Xiangliang Yang +10 more
TL;DR: It is proposed that IL-2 combined with AKK is a novel therapeutic strategy with prospecting application for cancer treatment in clinical practice.
CBS-derived H2S facilitates host colonization of Vibrio cholerae by promoting the iron-dependent catalase activity of KatB
Yao Ma,Xiaoman Yang,Hongou Wang,Zixin Qin,Chunrong Yi,Changping Shi,Mei Luo,Guozhong Chen,Jin Yan,Xiaoyun Liu,Zhi Liu +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), the simplest thiol compound, in protecting Vibrio cholerae against oxidative stress was investigated, and it was shown that H2S level has a positive correlation with putative cystathionine β-synthase (CBS) expression.
T-cell activation Rho GTPase-activating protein maintains intestinal homeostasis by regulating intestinal T helper cells differentiation through the gut microbiota
Ruirui He,Jianwen Chen,Zi-Wen Zhao,Changping Shi,Yanyun Du,Ming Yi,Lin Lin Feng,Qianwen Peng,Zhihui Cui,Ru Gao,Heping Wang,Yi Huang,Zhi Liu,Chenhui Wang +13 more
TL;DR: This paper showed that TAGAP deficiency or TAGAP expression downregulation caused by TAGAP gene polymorphism leads to decreased production of antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) such as reg3g, which subsequently causes dysregulation of the gut microbiota, which includes Akkermansia muciniphila and Bacteroides acidifaciens strains.
