TL;DR: The causal association between modifiable risk factors and erectile dysfunction remains unclear, which hinders the early identification and intervention of patients with ED as discussed by the authors , and therefore, the authors in this paper aim to clarify the causal associations between 42 predominant risk factors, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, basal metabolic rate, poor self-health rating, cigarette and alcohol consumption, insomnia and snoring, depression, stroke, ischemic stroke, coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, heart failure, and major depressive disorder.

Genetically predicted insomnia causally increases the risk of erectile dysfunction
TL;DR: In this paper , the potential causal links between sleep traits (insomnia, sleep duration, and chronotype) and erectile dysfunction (ED) have been investigated using a conventional two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) approach.

Lysyl oxidase family members in urological tumorigenesis and fibrosis.
TL;DR: Several studies agree that the LOX propeptide may suppress tumor growth, but the role of LOX in prostate cancer remains controversial, and further studies are needed to clarify the exact effects and mechanism ofLOX/LOXL on urological malignancies.
The Circadian Syndrome Predicts Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms Suggestive of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Better Than Metabolic Syndrome in Aging Males: A 4-Year Follow-Up Study.
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors used Logistic Regression to examine the relationship between CircS, MetS and LUTS/BPH, and the DeLong test was used to test the disparities of area under curves (AUC).
The Early Use of Vacuum Therapy for Penile Rehabilitation After Radical Prostatectomy: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis:
TL;DR: The meta-analysis revealed that the early use of vacuum therapy could significantly improve the five-item International Index of Erectile Function and penile shrinkage in post-RP patients and no serious side effects were identified.
