Nano theranostics platforms that utilize proteins
TL;DR: Recent advances made in this area were discussed following a format based on proteins in drug delivery systems, proteins-dye complexes for phototherapy of cancer, proteins nanoparticles for imaging-guided cancer therapy such as fluorescent imaging, positron emission tomography (PET), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound (US) Imaging and proteins-based nanoprobes and nanostructures.

Aza-BODIPY based probe for photoacoustic imaging of ONOO− in vivo
TL;DR: A photoacoustic (PA) probe AZB-1 was reported here for imaging ONOO− variations in vivo and may serve as powerful platforms for the preparation of novel PA chemosensors.

TL;DR: BDP-1 showed color change and near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence enhancement after reaction with Cys to generate BDP-OH, confirmed by HRMS, and the red shift of absorption wavelength showed a similar tendency resulting in time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT).
