Synthesis, molecular structure analyses and DFT studies on new asymmetrical azines based Schiff bases
Messaoud Yahyaoui,Abdelaziz Bouchama,Barkahem Anak,Chaabane Chiter,Amel Djedouani,Franck Rabilloud +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of new unsymmetrical azines Schiff bases was reported by condensation of hydrazine with different aldehydes and ketones to give (E) -2-hydroxynaphthalene-1-carbaldehyde [(1E)--2-thienylmethylene] hydrazone compound (I) and (Z) - 2 - [(E)- -1- (2)-hydroxyphenyl) ethylidenehydrazin-1,2-diphenylethanone compound(

Bis(3‐acetyl‐6‐methyl‐2‐oxo‐2H‐pyran‐4‐olato)bis(dimethylformamide)copper(II)
TL;DR: The title compound [Cu(C8H7O4)2(C3H7NO)2] is a mononuclear copper(II) complex where the CuII atom, lying on an inversion center, is coordinated in elongated octahedral fashion by six O atoms, four from two 3-acetyl-6-methyl-2-oxo-2H-pyran-4-olate ligands in equatorial positions and the remaining two from dimethyl-formamide mol-ecules in axial positions as mentioned in this paper.

Crystal structure of (Z)-2-[(E)-2-benzyl-idene-hydrazin-1-yl-idene]-1,2-di-phenyl-ethanone.
TL;DR: The title compound has an almost planar 1,2-dibenzylidenehydrazine backbone with an approximately orthogonal planar phenyl ethanone substituent on one of the imine C atoms.
