Heterogeneous gold nanocatalyst applied in the synthesis of 2-aryl-2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones
Cezar A. Didó,Eduardo Bustos Mass,Marcelo Barbalho Pereira,Ruth Hinrichs,Marcelo Gonçalves Montes D'Oca,Tania Maria Haas Costa,Dennis Russowsky,Edilson Valmir Benvenutti +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a gold nanocatalyst was applied in the synthesis of 2-aminobenzamide-based heterocyclic compounds using very small catalyst amount (0.6 gold mol%).

Strategy to isolate ionic gold sites on silica surface: Increasing their efficiency as catalyst for the formation of 1,3-diynes
Cezar A. Didó,Felipe Lange Coelho,Maurício B. Closs,Monique Deon,Flavio Horowitz,Fabiano Bernardi,Paulo H. Schneider,Edilson Valmir Benvenutti +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, mesoporous silica xerogel was grafted with an ionic silsesquioxane containing charged ammonium quaternary group, which was applied as support for immobilization of Au(III) ions as square planar AuCl4− complex.

Small gold nanoparticles with narrow size distribution achieved in SBA-15 pores by using ionic silsesquioxane instead of thiol group as stabilizer and adhesion agent
Cezar A. Didó,Carlos D.G. Caneppele,Andressa C. Schneid,Marcelo Barbalho Pereira,Tania Maria Haas Costa,Edilson Valmir Benvenutti +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, two organic precursors, mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane and/or an ionic silsesquioxane that contains the 1,4-diazoniabicyclo[2.2]octane group, were used as support for gold nanoparticles loading, aiming to study their ability as gold nanoparticle stabilizers and also as adhesion agents on SBA-15 pore surface.
